It seems that I'm a little late with posts. Best to go to the pictures and read the captions as that is more up to date.

Yesterday I talked a few friends into lifting the bottom of the boat into the building cradle. This cradle will force the plywood bottom of the boat into the correct shape. The boat will be finished in the cradle and from here it will be move onto the boat trailer.
Today I glued the two main floor stringers into place. These will be further secured with yellow cedar and epoxy tomorrow.

Got the bottom of the hull turned over and put on saw-horses today. Will now epoxy and glass joints and then paint. Due to the fact that this boat will be stored on its trailer paint should be sufficient protection without the cost of epoxy. All end grain and joints will still be epoxied.

The boat in being constructed on Vancouver Island but I have to go over to Vancouver occasionally so nothing gets done while I am away. The base of the hull was started today and is 32' long with a max beam of 6' 6". I hope this is a good guess. Also started cutting the yellow cedar that will be used to make up the various deck beams.
